Tony Rozario
Building Safety & Compliance Director
With over 25 years of extensive experience in property management, block management, and building safety compliance, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.
My professional journey began in 2000, when I commenced work as a property inspector for estate agencies, producing detailed property inventory reports for thousands of properties across the United Kingdom. Subsequently, I established and successfully managed my own inventory company in London, achieving significant growth and operational success.
In 2003, I became a fully qualified and vetted locksmith, later overseeing a team of locksmiths dedicated to providing lockout and repair services.
By 2010, I spearheaded the creation of a property and block management department, managing a substantial portfolio comprising over 30,000 units. During this period, I also established a maintenance, repairs, and cleaning division supported by a team of 30 skilled contractors.
In 2023, I joined a prominent organization in London as a certified Fire Door Inspector. I was quickly promoted to Regional Manager, and subsequently, I assumed the role of Line Manager in the fire safety sector, leading a large and dynamic team.
Building on this comprehensive experience, George and I founded Shield BSC. Our combined expertise and capabilities enable us to contribute meaningfully to enhancing standards and practices within the fire safety industry.

With over a decade of extensive experience in the field of fire safety and regulatory compliance, my professional journey began as an inspector and has progressively advanced to senior-level positions. This extensive background has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of building operations, the intricate nature of compliance requirements, and the practical challenges faced by property managers on a daily basis.
Throughout my career, I have observed numerous instances where buildings were unintentionally placed at risk due to misinterpretations or oversights in responsibilities.
This prevalent knowledge gap—spanning residents, contractors, and even industry professionals—was the driving force behind the establishment of Shield Building Safety & Compliance, a venture initiated by my colleague and me.
Our mission is clear and focused: to elevate industry standards, enhance awareness, and ensure that every building under our purview is not only compliant but also adheres to the highest levels of safety and care. We are committed to promoting clarity, fostering transparency, and implementing pragmatic safety solutions designed to safeguard both individuals and assets.
